Caroline Eglinton. BSc (Hons), Dip (Couns), MBACP (Accred)
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am an accredited counsellor with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I also have a BSc in Chemistry with
Statistics and Operational Research Methods.
My background includes working in business for a major retailer and manufacturer, where I did a variety of business roles managing teams of staff, developing new products from concept to market and implementing culture change. I have always been interested in supporting people and empowering individuals to be happy and confident in their own lifestyle.
I moved away from my business role to become a therapeutic counsellor, which is an area that has always held a great interest and passion for me. While undertaking my counselling studies, I became a volunteer for the Milton Keynes Bereavement Service, where I worked with both adults and children. I completed my training at a counselling agency - Counselling Works Ltd, where I continue as an affiliate counsellor. I also work privately in Olney, Buckinghamshire. I work with adults and older teenagers and have experience working with Autism.
I am committed to continual professional development and attend regular training and development programmes.
